And they dropped 8 passes, including two that definitely would've been TDs. AND, they took a knee at the end on our 6 yard line (not to mention that the play before likely would've been ruled a TD if they had bothered to challenge). They easily could've hung 60-70 on us, maybe even 80. The "if" game doesn't really work in our favor in this one. I'm just saying our offense could have had about 31 points if we don't turn the ball over. Their D is still pretty wretched, although it has improved. I think McBride showed some promise and grit, and our running game was okay. I'm looking forward already to next season, just pointing out that the cupboard isn't bare. We moved the ball reasonably well in the second half, just kept turning it over. LSU likely throttles our 3rd string QB led offense, but we will see. Maybe we can scrape up a few points. |
