In 17 competitive rounds there, he has been the leader or co-leader after 9 of them. To put that in perspective, in Tiger's entire career at ANGC he has led/co-led after 9 rounds (and he has four green jackets). Speith has made birdie or better on almost 30% of the holes he's played at ANGC. Whether he wins this week or not is anyone's guess, but at least up until this point he has torn that course apart. The rough there is more penalizing than it used to be, but that's still a course that rewards the big hitters. Speith's midrange and short games, as well as his scrambling ability are so good that he can compensate for his lack of distance off the tee.

What I'd really love to see is for Fowler to overtake the both of them. Whatever happens, I'm hoping for an exciting finish to the tournament.
