Call me crazy but I still have the same amount of hope I did before the game started Saturday. Yes losing sucks but let's be honest, any realistic fan knew going in that would be a tough game to win. I would have liked to of played WVU in the 3rd or 4th game of the year. There's a lot to figure out and improve on but there's a lot of bright spots. I still think 6 wins is very doable, possibly 7 if we sneak up on somebody. As I've told everyone around me, call me after the UF game then we'll talk. I won't hit the panic button until after week 4 and may not even then. It's an uphill climb ladies and gentlemen and certainly not for the faint of heart. We'll be okay but patience is key (something i know i'm tired of being after the last several years).

Yea i'm quoting myself lol. It's tough not slapping that panic button I spoke of. I guess I can't help but wonder how the game would have turned out without all the crazy turnovers and wild s!^t that happened. Still would have been a loss but might have looked a little better. I was hoping UF would be one of our wins because I know the next few are gonna be misery. Still behind this team but my 6 win confidence was shook a little Saturday night. We have to pull our pants up tight and keep digging. Make it through the gauntlet and get to a few winnable games late in the season. But unfortunately i'm afraid 4 or 5 wins may be the top for us this season. Hopefully i'm wrong and we hit our stride a little bit soon. GO VOLS

I say leave it as is until we win another. Let it be a reminder of where we have been as a program both at the top and bottom of the pile and let it remind us where we want to return to.

Maybe Mullen has told his team he's taking the TN job and they are a little down today.....I can dream 

I sure hope so. I want Gruden as much as the next guy but i'm also looking at who I believe will be our next coach and I pray it's Mullen

I wish I could say careful what you wish for, but I think they have the right guy there now. UGA could be a force to be reckoned with for many years to come.

that Butch is gone. But I'm tired of hearing how much of a coward he is or how shi**y he is for not coaching the last 2 games. Everyone was upset that he wasn't being fired during the season and now they're pissed he isn't coaching the last 2 games. Which is it? Finish the season or not? What do you want? You can't have both. He's gone. Let him be gone and move on. Worry about the new coach and not the past. I couldn't stand him either but I wouldn't want to finish the season with "fans" trying to "#EmptyNeyland". We get a bad rap as a fan base and I'm starting to see why. Let's move on and embrace the future.

I am sure the search is deep in the process or finished. The longer we don't hear anything, the more likely we have or plan to hire an active college coach. If it's Stoops, Kelly or by some miracle Gruden (beyond a long shot I know) then I would think we would hear something fairly soon. Otherwise I would think an announcement would be made within a few days of the conference championship games.

Like I said a couple weeks ago- with each passing week, the Dobbs era at UT looks more and more impressive.  I'm telling you- with better coaching and some better team luck with injuries, he might be mentioned in the same breath with Tebow and Newton.

I told my father just a few days ago that we are going to look back in 5-10 years and realize just how special Josh Dobbs was...

YES we do. It's time for this game to mean something again.

Cutcliffe? Great offensively. Could save a lot of money on defensive side buyouts. Let that side of the ball stay for a couple years if he likes them. Just pay him what he's due and give him money to hire/bring the assistants he wants. I think he gets us back on the map. Yea, he's older but he could and in my opinion would be successful for many years here. His no BS style would be huge here.

Today we find out whether Butch has his team. At times last week I was pretty sure he has lost the team. If his team has his back, they're gonna come out and play like their hair is on fire today. That might not be enough, but it'll be evident. If they don't have his back, they're going to come out, lay down, UGA wins by 5+ TDs, and we witness the beginning of the end of the Butch Jones era at Tennessee.
