I didn't write this.....So do you disagree with any of it? I get it...you just like the tailgate experience and could give a crap if Missouri hangs 50 on our ass in Neyland in game 11. Facts are facts. Sorry if you don't like it. Pruitt didn't have much good to say about today's game either.

If you don't like it don't read it.

it doesn't matter who wrote it, you endorsed it by posting it here. You're just another insatiable UT fan that's stuck in 1998.

Are you Bama Perry? I have to search deeply to recall a person so negative
3  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Only 3 times in UT football history on: Yesterday at 02:54:57 AM
Yes, we are 2-5 against them, with Dooley and Jones as our coaches.  Pruitt will do better IMO.  I just don't have any real respect for Missouri and see them as a team that has taken advantage of our down spell.

I mean look how happy they were at the end of this game...and they are 7-4.   7-4 is still a bad year at Tennessee, believe it or not.  They aspire to be 7-4 with a lucky-ass once in a generation QB that they won't see again for a long time.

I may not be confident about much, but Tennessee will turn the series against Missouri.  Florida and Georgia might be a different matter, but I'd bet money that Pruitt won't lose to Mizzou again for as long as he is at Tennessee.

Don't waste your time, the world just sucks in some peoples eyes

You can tell by the way he runs....that he can't run very well at all. Not his fault....he's just not a runner.

You must be thinking of someone else
6  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: If two unsportsmanlike penalties cost us this game..... on: October 28, 2018, 04:20:16 EDT
When your team lacks discipline it's 100% on the coach. And this team lacks it.

Patently false, discipline false on the parents shoulders as its developed in the pre-teen years. Coaches/leaders can build on it, but 95% of the time young adult males have formed their way by the time they hit their college years.

The coach makes the decision to play them

Defensively, I agree.  Offensively, not totally.

Penalties were the killer tonight.

WOW . I have 140 cha.nnels on Comcast and 150 mps internet and I'm paying $129/mo plus taxes

welcome to Comcast....
9  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: does anyone here Sling? on: October 25, 2018, 07:17:57 EDT
I'll be honest: I tried cutting the cord. I went back.

My ISP is not especially reliable. It's not terrible, but just bad enough for the stream to hang up at inopportune times during games. Also, I like to have multiple games playing at once and I couldn't do that with Sling. Mostly, though, I liked the interface of satellite better than having to back out to a menu and start a new stream every time I wanted to flip the channel. Plus I missed not being able to record games.

I tried Sling and PS Vue and wound up going back to Dish.

Thanks Ben, that's good info. My wife and I don't flip channels too much, so I think I'm going to give it a try to shee how it works out. Our internet is remarkable, but cable costs WAY too much (with internet & cable [no pay channels], its $280ish). I can cut $150+ a month

I'm about to pull the trigger on the orange & blue packages (dammit I hate saying those two colors together), namely because I can get the SEC network. I want to drop cable, but I hope tat someone will talk me out of it if they had a terrible experience.....
11  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: What is everyone's opinion on Pruitt's comments on: October 22, 2018, 12:42:03 EDT
my thoughts were.....very refreshing IMO. If some players get offended, so be it, they're getting a free education for playing football and there's value in that
12  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Of. Course. on: October 21, 2018, 03:19:48 EDT
One of the few times that fizzle won in Neyland
13  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Let's just be honest on: October 21, 2018, 01:30:49 EDT
I've never seen so many non calls on such blatant holding. I will be the 1st to say that they are slam packed with great athletes, but holy shizzle, they hold on just about avery single play
14  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: feeling slightly better about the O line on: October 19, 2018, 04:13:24 EDT
That would just invite the NCAA to town.  Everybody knows you're going to the highest bidder.

Not true, I shut down Saban, for no other reason than I found him to be an #badword#
15  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: feeling slightly better about the O line on: October 18, 2018, 04:50:14 EDT
Yep...Trey's a guard but like you posted, who's the LT?

fizzle it, i'll do it
16  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Gamers, a question.. do you by digital or physical copies of games nowadays? on: October 17, 2018, 03:48:43 EDT
Digital only, I never want to worry about scratching a disk
17  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Kongbo likes pancakes on: October 04, 2018, 09:51:20 EDT
By potential, I mean he was a a five star recruit.  But my memory might be off.

Butches players were lofty of star praises; they were ALWAYS overrated. Kongbo is no exception
18  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Kongbo likes pancakes on: October 04, 2018, 04:06:41 EDT
its a shame....had so much potential

not really, I can't remember much contribution from him. Now if you would have said speculation, sure, but not potential
19  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Orange colored glasses on.. UT may beat UGA.. on: September 27, 2018, 03:46:47 EDT
Hahha.  I'll bet you it's less than 40.

How much? It will be a 50 spread
20  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Orange colored glasses on.. UT may beat UGA.. on: September 27, 2018, 03:43:19 EDT
I'll go ahead and predict we don't get shut out and the margin will be less....

Ok, 42-2 then
21  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Don't Let Up on: September 20, 2018, 08:19:59 EDT

22  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: danged tiglets........... on: September 09, 2018, 09:01:34 EDT

Which one?
23  Sports / VTTW Message Board / Re: Soooooooo....everyone here still okay with being a Nike school this morning? on: September 04, 2018, 08:42:38 EDT
I've bought a minimum of three pairs of AirMax 360's a year since the begining of 2007 (when I re-joined the Army). At a safe average of $135/pair, I've spent about $4500ish on Nike running shoes.

Good  bye politics, and hello Saucony
