Well it shouldn't have come out. If that is the whole truth . . . that he was dismissed for a second offense of academic dishonesty . . . okay, but it is not the public or media's right to know that. And it seems to me, based on the timing, that it was leaked by someone in the AD in response to the pressure that Martin was receiving when the rumor was that he asked Golden to go elsewhere. If they leaked Golden's transgressions just to take the heat off of Cuonzo, then well . . . that sucks. Cuonzo is paid to take the heat. He's an adult and a head coach. Golden, despite his actions, did not need to be publicly shamed.

If he cheated, then why should he be protected from being shamed publicly?  He should be publicly shamed.... instead of letting him quietly go away while letting your coach twist in the wind.  He cheated, he should be man enough to accept the consequences and I dont think it should be kept quiet....no reason to protect bad character. JMHO

Personally, I cant stand womens basketball. I dont root for other schools but neither do I root for the Lady Vols. I just dont care for it. BTW....I absolutely hate baseball and dont root for the baseball team either.  MLB players are the most overpaid, juiced, arrogant, unathletic of the major sports.  I grew up playing baseball but now I refuse to watch it or even listen to someone talk about it on the radio.  However, in a wierd twist, I do like womens softball....that is a crazy fun thing to watch.  Hurling a softball at blazing speed on a small infield?.....pretty cool. I dont go out of my way to watch it but when I do run across it, I stop and watch for a while. Not sure if I am a bandwagonneer or not.   

Actually, most of May is the off-season.  We usually go to the beach during May because the rates are cheap and nothing is crowded.  Surf is usually warm enough to swim...deep sea fishing is good.  Disney rates are fairly cheap...

Every player is important....we dont have the depth of talent to keep missing out on our share of 4 and 5 star players.  We needed a big-time commit in order to have some feelings of hope.  I understand all the stuff about new staff, etc. but it seems like a long time since we had a top 10 class....oh wait, it has been a long time since we had a top 10 class.  I am simply disappointed that we didnt have a better class....not blaming CBJ at all, but I really needed/wanted a good class with a few big time surprises....we got some surprises but not what I would call "big-time".  This fan base cant keep on hoping for next year to be better, or that the next coach will be better, or the next AD or Chancellor will be better.  I am fairly disappointed...but then again, I am usually disappointed these days.  We will probably lose the Orange and White game this year.

Ya know I am sick and tired of this "when we did not get Gruden" talk......Gruden is not going to give up his "work weekends and make 400K per week" ESPN gig.   At best it was a long shot to get Gruden.  Strong was just using UT to get a raise out of Lousiville just as the OSU coach did.  I am happy we have a coach that wants to be here.  Jones wanted the job and he let Hart know it.  So we did NOT settle for Jones we got a coach that has won everywhere he has been and is glad he is here.....
