I've been following the Vols since I was old enough to remember (1972).  I'm sure there has been a bigger one, but I can't remember off the top of my head a bigger bust than Johnathon Kongbo.  And coincidently, the next-biggest bust may be a teammate...  Dillon Bates.  What's the odds?  Who comes to mind when you think of biggest busts that have worn the orange?

Maybe we still don't win even without the technical being called, but Pat Adams has to know the circumstances and ramifications of a call like that.  Hell who knows, maybe Maymom deserved it, but I would hope it was call that Adams had to make.

The most frustrating thing to me is the fact that Florida was beatable today.  Going into the game, I  thought we had zero chances of winning and I was one of those calling for a change at QB.  I was even okay with Peterman after his first two turnovers, but after that I blame the coaches for not getting him out.  He was completely overwhelmed at that point.  The series when we were down 10-7 and we got the ball on Florida's 30, it was crucial that we get points.  I don't care if you run it 3 times up the middle and kick a field goal, just get points.  Instead, Peterman comes back in and has yet another turnover.  Not just an interception, but something out of the damn Waterboy movie. We literally look like a bunch of misfits on offense.  If I didn't care so darn much, I would watch just to be amused.  I have followed this program for 40 years, and I can honestly say I have never seen us reach the depths that we find our program.   I do believe that Butch can bring this program back to where we all expect.  Its gonna take patience, and patience, and then more patience, but I believe Butch will eventually get us back. Until then, my hope is that we get to experience just 1 win over a team we're not expected to beat.

on the radio this morning with the compliance director at UT.  I was beginning to think....What the heck?  Pay them a little.  The interview brought up issues that would result if players were paid.  Some I never even began to consider.  One that stuck-out to me was what happens when the players feel they deserve more money...  Do they form a union and strike until they get more money????  It would definitely suck to be sitting home in September and all of college football is on strike.  Not saying it would ever happen....but its not delusional to think that it may.   Many other issues were brought-up that has changed my thoughts on the subject.

I have an idea..........Bring on Basketball!

I didn't expect to win the SEC, but I didn't think we'd stink it up like this either.

albeit with many accessories... Feeding tube, Monitors, and Oxygen.  A little overwhelming but sure glad to get him home with his brother. 

would love a series win.  A sweep would be really nice, but we're getting ahead of ourselves.  I think its vital that this team not dig itself too big a hole to start out the conference season.  I know the past four years, we were absolutely horrendous when starting the SEC portion of the schedule.
