The Swamp is open most days and is a popular place for exercising. I've used it for training for climbing many times. The scum hole at fsu is also open for exercising. Lots of coeds there running the steps

LOL . . . pouring salt . . . you guys are like shooting fish in a barrel. I post the exact sentiment I've seen expressed by Clock and all the other UTers that frequent the VS and WHAB. But naturally the snarling dogs begin to howl and scream . . . and insult. And of course my followup I only agreed with how wonderful UT tradition is . . . historically.
Tiderinsider's got nothing on you guys . . . well except the winning part.
Ouch on that last line

We can't buy alcohol on Sundays in stores or in restaurants in the county. But we can inside the city limits. And we're limited to how much we can buy direct shipped from out of state wineries. But I, uh, ahem, have ignored that limit.
Glad I could help your outlaw lifestyle!

Having lived in Miami and gone to Keys a bunch, wife's family had a place south of St. Augustine and gone to law school in St. Pete and knowing those beaches as well >>>The best is around SR 30A in Walton County. Not really many condo's just rental houses. Also check San Destin. You can thank me later. Destin is great, water is beautiful but a little more built up.

Damn, that is a shame. Hope the board survives in some form or fashion. I have enjoyed lurking and poasting from time to time. If for some reason it doesn't, I read Droner's poast but I'd take him as a first round supplemental wine draft pick. We need someone to keep BBG honest! javascript:void(0);

Yeah, I guess the Wines til Sold Out offering had changed by the time you saw it. I have been buying up the 09 bordeaux. Heck for $10 per bottle and a 90 pt WS rating why not. I need a large cooler though. My wine is getting in the way of the file storage at my office!

I have picked up several including a few #1s I think. I know i have gotten several top tens. I think from a quick list there should be quite a few available. I think they made a lot of the #1. You can find it on the interwebs but people have gone nuts with the price since it was #1.. Heck Cloudy Bay Sauv Blanc was # 29. I can buy that stuff by the truckload. Only three of the top 100 were over $100 and none over $200.00

I gave up my subscription to WS a few years ago but still like to check it out from time to time. I was in a book store yesterday (remember them) and picked up both WS and WE's year end top 100. I was pleasantly suprised to see how few real expensive wines there were. I think WS only had one or two over $100 and not crazy over priced bordeauxs or burgs.

2005 Phelan Segur St. Estephe. Great vintage for Bordeaux. St. Estephe is a Cabernet based appellation. Very tannic and structured. Wine was great. Could use many more years in the bottle. Ten years would be great. Wish I had bought more. I think I bought only three bottles. If you want something to cut through the fat of rib eye--this is your wine.

Consig started with one his go to Cabs-- BV Napa. Though BV Rutherford and BV GdLT have more terroir and "Rutherford Dust", BV Napa is a consistent wine which pairs great with steak. Typical retail has risen to the mid to low $20s but the wine is a classic year after year.
Following the BIG tannic Cab-Consig stepped it down a notch and went with a Gevrey Chambertin Ville Villages. Restrained Burg that could have used more bottle time but classic wine that would great with Turkey for T-giving. about $25 per bottle
