JMU has an extremely good football program.  They went  8-3 in 2022 in their first season as an FBS team. The only reason they didn't go to a bowl game last season is the stupid NCAA transition rule to ensure that new teams to the FBS play a true FBS schedule within three seasons.  The fact is that JMU's schedule in 2022 was already fully FBS compliant, but the rule couldn't be waived. Yes, the Sun Belt Conference isn't the SEC, but I think JMU will be winning even more games they're expected to lose as a still new FBS team.

Hello, everyone.  I'm just checking in to say that my son ("T") found out last night that he's been accepted at UT for the fall semester.     Another VFL in the family.

I accidentally deleted his account when clearing the registration requests, which number in the thousands and are 99.9% illegitimate. Completely my fault. 

in the first half for targeting. A couple of the calls were pretty close. It's too subjective. If the runner can lower his head, why not the defender? It's gonna change a lot of games personnel wise. Maybe they should save the ejection for if the player is called for it a second time in the game.

I didn't think any of the calls were close in the least.  They were all very obviously targeting as the rule is written.  All my brother and I kept saying was "Why is it so hard for the defenders to keep their heads up?"  That's a coaching issue.  All of the targeting calls I saw in that game were correctly called; even the announcers were saying that.

Mine plays as well... rising Sophomore.  In fact, we are playing in a Summer Tourney in Asheville right now. One game away from the championship.  I LOVE lacrosse.

Easily my favorite sport.    I started coaching in 2016 and playing last fall in a Masters club (35+ years old). I was 58 when I started.

He's 15, almost 16, and just finished his Sophomore year of high school.   He's played varsity lacrosse both years, and he's FAST.
