Let me add that Sibely of Iowa tried her best to choke it away with back to back turnovers in the last two minutes, but the refs saved her.

The turnovers were completely on her also...got caught looking away from her defender and then just flat threw the ball to the other team

UConn has been on a hot streak, Creighton beat them in mid February.  UConn has not been this good all year.

They don't know what they're talking about. Bama is almost 100% offense, and they struggle against goid defensive teams that can limit their scoring...like Uconn.

We should have beaten USC jr in the SEC tourney.  I hated to see how hard Kellie took that. I really like her and want her to succeed, but if next year is the disaster we fear it may be without Jackson, a change will have to be made.

The team did improve from her earlier years, but has a long way to go.

Long story short...CBS anticipates more $$$ from accommodating Purdue Gonzaga than UT Creighton. 

In fairness, although they are known to sometimes be good at bball, Creighton is hardly a household name, and our bball success, although recently we have done well, has not been consistent over time.

I'm sad that Indiana is not in the top 10.  They have 5 NCs, and were briefly tied with Kentucky in the 90s for second most after UCLA.  But since then, UNC, Kansas, and UConn have all won a lot of NCs, and UK has won 3 more, while IU has won zero.  I guess technically they were no. 11 from the way the article was written, but I grew up rooting for them when Knight was their coach, and they have not been the same since.

No real Cinderellas left in the tourney now.

Jackson saved Kellies job for another year by coming back. She missed 8 games early due to injury and we looked like crap....but won enough to save Kellies job when she came back. Stop and think what we would have looked like this year without Jackson. Ugly.
