Uh huh. People in K Town have been sitting on a LOT of incriminating info. This is just the tip of the iceberg. He'll be sorry he ever fizzleed with us.

Well, there are a lot more rumors out there than just those mentioned there. All I will say is that if even a small percentage of the rumors are true it's a good thing that Lane left town.
And to add to that, there are some rumors about a certain assistant who isn't related to him that went west with him, as well.
If Lane had just left for USC none of this would likely come out. But with the way he and Orgeron tried to loot our early enrollees and trash us on their way out I believe that a no holds barred attitude has come to light. Don't be surprised if you hear a lot more than just this, from what I am being led to believe.

I wonder if any of the coeds were shall we say "under 21"? If so lets get his ass back here top stand trial and see if he gets a jury of his "peers" to not send his ass to Brushy Mountain for some "don't drop the soap" time!!!!!! (I know Brushy is closed but it is fun to think about Kiffin and his pretty boy looks in a maximum security prison.....wonder how his street cred would turn out in prison?)

21 isn't relevant. 18 is the age. "Authority figure" laws wouldn't come in to play unless he supervised them in a work capacity, which isn't likely.

Underage drinking? If he supplied alcohol to a person under the age of 21 and then took advantage her I think there is some parts of the law that alter the Underage portion of the law but I am not sure....but for sure he could be capped for supplying alcohol to a minor!!!!

I just hope this doesn't backfire and put an even worse image of the University out there -- if there's cover-ups, boosters involved, etc.

You are correct. I was referring to the potential for hanky panky between he and an 18-21 year old coed. While that may not be illegal, I am sure he might come face to face with some irate Daddy's with shotguns, should he ever return.

I ditto your ditto. If that did turn out to be the case it at least would be an opportunity to permanently get rid of those boosters who are facilitating that kind of thing.

If ANYONE knew of shenanigans with coeds, drinking... drugs, driving under the influence, holy crap... we're talking major potential for LOIC. This could be fun to see "he who must not be named" squirm but it's a double edged sword and I would HATE to hear of something that hinted of a coverup.

If it were just a coach I don't see where LOIC would come into play.
That just shows that he is a scuzzy SOB, not that the athletic department had anything to do with it. Afterall, it was on his time, not during UT sanctioned events that involved the UTAD.

The only way it could be LOIC is if anyone above Kiffin knew about it and covered it up. I hope that would not be the case. If it is then that person should be toast.

Yeah, how could this be an NCAA issue at all? Could be bad and ugly PR but I don't see how the NCAA could get involved.

That the boosters are idiots for helping Kiffin be a jackass. Still doesn't mean anything for the NCAA. No players were involved.

Nothing. What matters is if student-athletes were involved. Unless something like that comes to light, this isn't an NCAA issue.

Now student athlete, based on evidence to daye, gained an advantage or received an extra benefit, thus the NCAA is not a party to the sniffing

Well, if it's true I predict Lane Kiffin will be receiving flowers from Mike Price at some time in the near future.

But you know that TMZ (the celebrity gossip site) is about to launch a new site dedicated to sports figures. Word is, they're in Knoxville checking all this out. This will probably be the story that puts TMZ Sports on the map.

Well, they (TMZ) won't be JUST going after Kiffin, they will have no hesitation to make everyone look sleazy. I have a feeling this won't end feeling like revenge was served. As satisfying as it might seem at the moment, I figure we'd all best hope they find nothing.
