Mullen, Malzahn, Stoops seem to be the names being thrown around.

God to add Gruden since everyone will do so, and he won't be interested

Spurrier?

Chizik?

Chip Kelly?

Jim Harbaugh?

Petrino's name was just floated out there by Schlabach on ESPN.

I was thinking about that one too... would be a good hire for them, do not want them getting Petrino.

I'm hoping its Stoops or Mullen.  Neither of them scare me much.  Mahlzan could be scary, if he brings in a good defensive staff.  Petrino doesn't scare me either- but he IS a liar and a snake, so he'd fit right in down there.

I'll call Mullen to UF and Malzahn to MSU. Petrino would be a great hire and Stoops would be a good option too. The real loser in all this is Miami. They'll have to pay more.

Petrino to the Gators.
Malzhan to the Razorbacks
No clue on who takes Vandy

If Malzhan gets a HC job before the NC game would he pull a Cut and leave before the game is played?

I think Mullen would be a great hire.  What he did at MSU this year speaks volumes, and IMO he was a lot more of the offense under Meyer than perhaps many realize.  In fact, Mullen was with Urban at Utah also.  So how much of the spread was Urban and how much Mullen?  Even last year, with Tebow still around and Mullen gone, UF was not as good on offense.

Of course, Mullen may have some baggage from being at UF that makes them not want to hire him...much as many Vols would not want Cut or Chavis to return here (not that those guys are hot HC candidates or anything, just an example).   I think he would be a  great hire for the gators.   But no one, including gators seems to think he is.  For which I am actually glad...

Mullen would probably be a pretty good hire. What he is doing at MSU is hard to ignore.

The candidate who scares me more than anyone is Chip Kelly.
