2011 FOOTBALL SCHEDULE
Date    Opponent / Event    Location    Time / Result
09/03/11    vs. Montana TV    Knoxville, Tenn.    6:00 p.m. ET WIN  Griz are a perennial 1-AA power but should go 27-14
09/10/11    vs. Cincinnati TV    Knoxville, Tenn.    3:30 p.m. ET WIN
09/17/11    at Florida * TV    Gainesville, Fla.    3:30 p.m. ET LOSS
10/01/11    vs. Buffalo    Knoxville, Tenn.    TBA                  WIN
10/08/11    vs. Georgia *    Knoxville, Tenn.    TBA          WIN
10/15/11    vs. LSU *    Knoxville, Tenn.    TBA                 WIN MAJOR revenge game = a W
10/22/11    at Alabama *    Tuscaloosa, Ala.    TBA        LOSS although a close game I think... I can still hope for an upset.
10/29/11    vs. South Carolina *    Knoxville, Tenn.    TBA LOSS  unless Garcia continues being a head case, SC is loaded this year.
11/05/11    vs. MTSU        Knoxville, Tenn.    TBA           WIN
11/12/11    at Arkansas *    Fayetteville, Ark.    TBA   LOSS  no hard feelins?
11/19/11    vs. Vanderbilt *    Knoxville, Tenn.    TBA   WIN  34-zippo as usual.
11/26/11    at Kentucky *    Lexington, Ky.    TBA       WIN they got hoops on their mind anyway

So there's how I see it, 8-4 Vols, 4-4 in conference, and a shot at Independence, Chick Fil A, Music City, prolly not Citrus or Cotton...  but much improvement for Dooley and co.

I think we have a shot at FL. Think Bama and LSU could be tough, SC for some reason doesn't scare me.

I agree we will likely lose to Ark this yr.

We'll see... only giving the edge to Florida because they do retain some talent and of course it's at the Swamp.  That was a tough pick

well we see that you have retained you sophisticated picking skills as usual.......NOT!!!!

I think we get USC this year since we had them on the ropes in the fourth quarter last year and they were basically had to outscore the vols.  Overall I think we get LSU and UF I think we can beat them with their new staff.  So 9-3 or 10-2 if we are lucky

And if you remember, I'm from Arkansaw.  We don't allow sophistication of any sorts.  Just as long as I'm right.

Garcia's QB coach was fired for being drunk and peeing in public (while he was facing the highway ) so SC might be a little off kilter this year.

Whenever I hear "drunk in public" I can't help but think of this...

Apparently Garcia's learned a lot from his coach, including his off field antics
