When you hit August 1, you are staring TN HS football, college football "fall" camp, and NFL training camp and preseason in the face. I enjoy most every other sport... baseball, basketball (yes even the NBA), hockey, golf, tennis... but football is simply king.

Today is first day in full pads for the TN high school teams. Our first HS media day is Thursday. First scrimmage is Friday and first high school games just two weeks after that. And of course that's all just a way to pass the time until the first weekend of September. It won't be long now.

not here, I think it's 15° hotter on August 1 from July 1... fall can not come here quick enough
