It was likely those "ounces" that kept him from realizing his complete potential.

Just like Yancey Thigpen, Carl Pickens, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple...  the Titans have "zero" luck with free agent wide receivers!

Nate Washington and Justin Gage are the other ones who jump to mind and their moderate production was / has been by far the best of those five. Which isn't saying much.

Other than those guys most of the WRs over the years have been home grown... Bennett, McCareins, Britt, Mason, Chris Sanders... all Titan draftees or UFAs.

I'd like to see them bring Mason back. That guy can still be productive.
