Hey, Sport..... Now that's just CHOICE!!!  What's it like being a Dad now, for like generation Z? I'll just bet you are in a zone you didn't know existed before Wednesday! I'm certain you can tell me the exact minute that boy was born, regardless of what the Certificate says. My Sarah was exactly spot-on 8:10am, though the Certificate says 8:15. That disrespectful kid wanted to argue with me about that! She wasn't even wearing a watch. (Grounded!) I'm so very happy you two have a physically gifted, healthy baby who by all means appears to be as healthy as an ox. I doubt there are many people on the face of this earth who are as happy as you kids are right now! Gregg |

It's said all the time and it's cliche as cliche can be, but there's just no way to describe it until you experience it. He wants nourishment about every hour and a half to two hours. With the wife still recovering from the pain I've got his bassinette on my side of the bed, and while I'm admittedly tired.. I've never been so happy to get up all those times through the night. A few times I've caught him grinning in his sleep.. I tell ya, you just can't beat it.
A good friend gave us the blanket, glad we took it to the hospital for this photo op!

It's said all the time and it's cliche as cliche can be, but there's just no way to describe it until you experience it. He wants nourishment about every hour and a half to two hours. With the wife still recovering from the pain I've got his bassinette on my side of the bed, and while I'm admittedly tired.. I've never been so happy to get up all those times through the night. It only gets better. When his eyes can finally focus in a few days and he can look at you and interact with you, the level of euphoria just goes up. |

^^^This^^^. When the eyes starting opening up a little wider, and they just sit and stare at you, it is an awesome experience. One of my favorite pictures is our first born staring up at me at about 1 month old, and she has a look on her face that seems to say, "Who are you, and why do you look so weird?" |

My Dad told me when we were expecting our first, "All I can tell you is you will love him." I thought to myself "yeah yeah." Then it happened and that was an understatement. It can't be described.
