I was reading an article in one of the Montana newspapers about how their coaches are calling this their biggest opponent ever. And the writer, to clarify why this is a big game, says, "Tennessee won the national championship in 1998." That might not seem like much, but there was a time when simply saying "Tennessee" was clarification enough that it was a big game for these weaker schools.
