http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=346&f=3067&t=6387858You can use "hotspotshield" to block your IP address from ESPN3. It might be worth a look. Although, it may be implied that your cable carrier has to have access to ESPN3 and it sounds like you don't, so maybe it does not matter.
I don't know how it works now, but the first year ESPN3 was out I could not get it because my cable carrier (IP provider) did not support it. I started getting it last year, finally. I don't know if that's still the case or not.
Anyway, if you normally can get ESPN3, this might be worth a shot.
