So I had dsl in NC but up here in the Noke I'm with cable for the first time.  The THIRD technician will be here tomorrow to deal with dvr problems so the "cable company" is living up to the rep BUT my internet seems to be pretty killer.  Netflix streaming always seems to hit "hd" quality.  Would 28.8 mb/s download and 3.99 mb/s upload be considered "good"?

I have no idea what I was running in NC... something tells me 3 mb/s but I'm not sure.  So... is this considered "great" internet speed?

That is smoking unless you are a on-line gamer.

I game online with much, much less than that.  I'd say that is good speed.

I just switched our ISP at work today and asked about the fastest available and it was advertised at 50 down (forgot the up) at a cost of $200/month. I'd expect actuals closer to what you get. Your speed is excellent. You are now the designated VTTW downloader.
