Don't let that moron Danielson influence your opinion. If Tennessee was going to come back, they would have to have three touchdowns, two 2-point conversions and an extra point to tie. When you attempt the two is immaterial. It isn't at all uncommon for coaches to go ahead and go for it rather than kick the PAT so they know exactly which scenario they're going to face thereafter.

I could care less about him..if they kicked the extra pt then its 30-14,a 16 pt game..and then you try for 2 pts if you get another td

You still need to make two 2-point conversions.  You can either have 3 tries to make two or two tries to make two.

But if you dont get it then your 17 pts dwn and you need 3 scores just to tie...I say worry about the 2 pt conversions when and if you score again,every point counts

If you don't get the 2 after the 2nd score, you still need 3 scores total. There's no difference.

I think it would be better psychologically for the players to know that they are only down 2 scores.
Especially for a young team.
