134.  That's a decent amount, but after yesterday's game I was expecting it be over 200.  Other than the first drive and the short drive after the interception, I thought we contained it pretty well for the most part.

It was in the 170's before figuring in losses. We did ok.

"Ok" is exactly right.  I thought you had done much better.

Thats because all their big gainers were flares, screens and a bust on a short dump off by a Fr LB that went 80 yards.

You're right. I thought of that right after I posted.  The scrrens and quick outs probably SEEMED like runs.  But for all that they "only" had 228 yards passing.  Overall they had 362 yards total offense which is decent but not great. Had we not given them a short field so often the outcome might have gone our way.  Regardless I like the way our d played and IMO we showed considerable improvement in thisa game. The consistency is not there but IMO that is exactly what can improve easily as young players get experience.  Think how young we are at lb and how much they are likely to improve....

Maggit is the real deal.  He showed flashes of what he can be Saturday.  Right now he seems to be half a step away from where the action is on almost every play.  When he learns to react and not think about what he's suppose to do he will be terrific.  We still need help up front though.
