So . . . why? 4 handoffs and a sneak? What did that accomplish?

I agree with this.

As for burning his redshirt, the boob announcers might be right. Worley might start for the rest of the season.

That's the only way this makes sense, is if Worley is the guy from here on out.

If Worley does not start next week then Dooley has some serious explaining to do.

You are absolutely correct.

Quite frankly, I don't know what the Vols should about the QB. I don't want to pick on the guy, but Simms is not an SEC QB. He probably isn't even an FCS (Div. 1-A) QB.  So do you stick with him and hope he can get us to 6-6, go to a bowl, get the team extra practice time and some exposure on TV? Or do you go with Worley to prepare for the future? And exactly what is that future? Is it just to prepare him to back up Bray? Are we sure that Bray will leave for the NFL after his junior year? Will Worley be better than Bray? Is Worley bound to be a one year starter and content to back up Bray for two more years?

I have a lot of questions. Unfortunately, I have no answers. It's a good thing I'm not paid to have the answers.

Because right now, our QB situation is a dadgum mess.

Once again, I am the master of the obvious.
