Some points...bammer and LSU are two of the very top defenses in the country, period.  We all already knew that, but this puts some numbers to it.

Notice that bammer only allows 45 ypg rushing. We had 92.   Notice that LSU allows 77, and we had 111.

Finally, although USC is top ten in most defensive categories, the exception is the running game.

As bad as our running game was earlier in the year, we took on literally two of the top four rush D's in the country and beat their average yards allowed running.  

If USC has a weakness on D, it is apparently against the run.  

This might just be a glimmer of hope that we can get some good rushing yards against USC.
