We have a confirmation from Rockstar.  First trailer is out next Wednesday.

I guess what I meant was.. When is the expected release date?  They're saying next gen consoles possibly out in 2013.

Although Rockstar has historically released their big titles in the spring/summer.  I doubt they would make that timeframe in 2012, since they're just now confirming its existence.  So it could be summer 2013.  And with the new consoles supposedly coming out in the 4Q of that year, that would probably make GTA5 the last big title for the current generation systems.

BTW, several months ago I saw speculation that a casting call for voice actors on imdb was for the next GTA.  The characters it described seemed to point to a reboot of San Andreas.   I know a lot of people are hoping for an all-new city, but that would be fine by me, as GTA SA remains my favorite game ever.  I'd love to see what they could do with that huge open world on the current-gen systems.
