coming into the game last night was #1 in the entire country. They had 16 picks for the season against much more seasoned QB's. They were #7 in Total Defense in the entire country. Their front 4 may be the best in the SEC. We had a true FR QB making his first start against this defense with no running game to support him. SC game plan was to stuff the run and make the true FR QB pass to beat them. It worked so now it is time to get ready for MTSU and to be bowl eligible.

USCe was a good D. I am not happy with 3-5, and I am very pro Dooley. In August with an healthy Hunter and Bray I thought even stealing one of the last 4 would be tough (UGA, LSU, Bama or USCe) w/o injuries and the way the season as unfolded near impossible for this team right now. The last 3 weeks playing 1-2-3 in total and scoring d has been just hard to watch, but credit to the staff for shooting all the bullets they have going for a bunch of 4th and 1's, fake punt and  onside kick. I do think a few staff changes are coming, and I support that.
