The latest I heard was 4-6 weeks.  He was injured a little over three weeks ago.  We play Vandy in a little under 3 weeks.  That adds up to 6 weeks.

Is he back for Vandy or not?  I say yes.  Others (cough cough) disagree.

I have no sources of info on this whatsovever, so I am fishing here.  Does anyone know for sure, or is it all opinion?

Dooley has said he will be back for Vandy...unless he isn't healed enough, in which case he won't be back for Vandy.

Dooley said yesterday that they have always said that the earliest he could possibly be back was Vandy but they won't know if he can come back for that game until that week.

I see no need to play him this year unless we are playing for a bowl.

Oh, I do. He is the starting QB. He needs to have game time with Dallas and Arnett and he needs to hone his ability at calling protections and fronts.

No one knows at this time.  That includes Bray, Dooley, and the training staff.  It is all just speculation on everyone's part, even me.  It will all depend on whether rehab strengthens his thumb enough to grip the ball.  Period.  Any time table anybody on this board or any board has zero validity.
