might happen

We are working on the running game this half.  Trying all sorts of things.  Blocking has been up and down.
I note Stone is in the game

But it's not like anyone else lit the world on fire either.  He's just been that bad.

Toney wasn't bad.

Poole got 1.2 ypc vs MTSU. He's terrible right now. Get Toney and Lane in, work some plays to devrin and Neal, Poole needs to sit.

WE ACTUALLY GAINED POSITIVE YARDAGE WITH TONEY IN THE GAME.....................did you guys see the first run from scrimmage by Poole?????????????????  I think he ran with his eyes closed..................he ran right up Bartholemew's 6........................and both players were stopped for a LOSS.

I liked what I saw from Toney. Sure, it was MTSU. But he looked better back there than Poole did.

NOBODY is going to set the world on fire in our backfield until our OL problems are fixed, but I hope (and expect) to see Toney on the field fairly early against Arkansas.

I actully feel bad for Poole. he went from really running hard under Kiffin to starting year year under Dooley really well to tap dancing. I do think he has great potential but somewhere something is wrong.

Maybe he's one of those guys who plays well with a chip on his shoulder but when he's "the guy", his performance suffers.
