Would Y'all rather have Tennessee play Miami or Wake Forest in the MCB? I'd rather UT play WF,it would be easier(IMO)than Miami

You're correct, but I'm figuring UK used up what it had left against UGA.

It could be Virginia.

If UT gets there, I want Miami.

Virginia wouldn't be bad because I still get nostalgic about the '91 Sugar Bowl, but Wake doesn't excite me.

Dad took me to that '91 Sugar Bowl.  Good memories.

Dad took me to that '91 Sugar Bowl.  Good memories.

I was there.  Their fans were incredibly classless and arrogant.  The halftime show, the "It's great, to be, able to read" taunts, and then it looked like they were going to spank us.  The comeback was awesome.  Shut their fans up for sure, but I almost got in a fight on the way out anyway.

I had never seen anything like Bourbon Street.  Of course, I wasn't even a teenager yet.  It was surreal to me.

It was my first year out of college.  I had only been working fulltime for 4 months.  I never had the time or money to go to a bowl in college, so I went and enjoyed it.  I enjoyed it a bit too much, I think.  But man was it fun.

Ha. Proof that us folks in the sticks are smarter than you city boys.

(An old guy up here used to say that people from Oneida were smarter than people from Knoxville and he could prove it. He said that for years and finally one day someone asked him how he could prove it. He said, "Simple." You go out on the street here in Oneida and ask any 10 people where Knoxville is and all 10 of them can tell you. Then go over to Knoxville and ask any 10 people where Oneida is and see how many of 'em can tell you."  )

GO VOLS!

A couple days ago, one of the bloggers at ESPN had us in the Liberty Bowl.  The other said MCB.  I personally would not mind MCB, Liberty or BBVA (Birmingham).  All of those are good trips for me.

UT against Tulsa or Southern Miss in the Liberty Bowl would be a good matchup

I think playing in Nashville, while Franklin sits at home stewing would be a nice situation ...
