28 years is amazing in this day and age. My wife tells me all the time that 16 feels like 28.

My wife and I have been married 34 years in January.  When asked how long, she says 7 wonderful years, not in a row. Then she says 34 years total.
She is gravely ill now with no chance of full recovery.  Her doctors can maintain and keep her alive, but she will never be well again. It will be a miracle if she lives six more years, but I would love to see 40 years.
