you have ever been to...anywhere in the world. I have travelled a lot a here's my 5

1 - Trunk Bay, St John, Virgin islands - Hands down the most amazing beach. It's a bit secluded, small, but the bluest waters and greatest snorkling you will do. It's a picture post card. Picture below.

2 - Candolim Beach, Goa, India - You get there and it's wow. This beach in the Goa area is spectacular for breakers, seashells, and a variety of great places to eat, ON the beach. Picture below

3 - Barra De Navidad, Mexico - Very few people have heard of this beach, not too far from Acapulco. It's the sea on one side lagoon on the other. Pretty secluded, and the waves are great. water gets deep in a hurry. pic below

4 - Isle of Palms, South Carolina, USA - My favorite beach on the continental US. Its the Atlantic, but not too commercial, and very wide. Clean as well. Excellent restaurants nearby.

5 - Bamboo Beach, Phuket, Thailand - Pretty well kept, and the natural beauty is awesome. Clean, blue water. Food is delicious.

I concur with St. Johns....Also Megens Bay in St. Thomas. I've haven't really been to a bad beach in the Caribbean. Okinawa Japan had some very nice beaches too.

Agree that Megens Bay is nice; as long as the cruise ships aren't in! My favorite is Waikoloa Beach on Anaeho'omalu Bay (say it five times fast), Big Island of Hawaii. Second favorite would be Grande Island Recreation Center in Subic Bay, Philippines. Was rec center for US Armed Forces personnel (and we overseas DOD civilians), but I'm not sure if the Philippine Govt privatized it after US Navy pulled out; they're crazy if they didn't.
