"We" aren't concerned about the media. I've pointed out their hypocrisy and silliness but I don't lose sleep over it at the end of the day because I know their schtick well. I'm just making a point that Haith-to-Tulsa is a real wth move.

By we I mean fans on the net. I am not targeting you in particular, but there are millions of threads started on message boards about what negative things the media is saying about this and that. They'll move on. Not really an issue in the long run.

I'm not really annoyed by it, but I AM amused at all of the misinformation and half-truths coming from mostly out of market and national media outlets on this issue.  They clearly have no idea what they're talking about.

And this may not go away as soon as you think, either.  Unless our next coach...

A. is the greatest X's and O's guy to ever stalk the sideline; or
B. can land a boatload of 4* and 5* recruits in short order...

...then he is inevitably going to struggle next year with the dearth of talent he will have inherited from Martin.  Then, the chorus is going to be "UT ran off a Sweet 16 coach for _________, who can't even get them to the postseason".  Don't believe me?  Just watch.

Also, I'm just waiting for one of them to play the race card.  Because you KNOW it's coming.

Forde says, "Why wait?"

It looks to me like Haith was facing even more pressure than Martin.  He took a 32-4 team in his first year and lost to a #15 seed.  A 2 seed losing to a 15 seed has only happened a handful of times since they went to a 64-team field.  And then there is the infamous NCAA sanctions, of course.  I can actually see him leaving more than Cuonzo.

Think about it: No way we would see this article if it wasn't involving the SOUTHeastern Conference. South in caps by design. All of the coaches mentioned job performances put them on the hot-seat, not the color of their skin.

When I saw Tubby mentioned in that group I LOL'd. IMO, his race was the ONLY reason that UK had not fired him when he jumped ship.
