Just got extended also...

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/10269553/donnie-tyndall-southern-mississippi-golden-eagles-agree-extension-2018-season?ex_cid=espnapi_public

Base of $500,000 through 2018 and owes 35% of that.  I am going to assume that means "2017-2018 season".  So...3 seasons x $500,000x 35%...okay that's $530,000...not as much as I thought.

I guess if he pays a bit of that every year it's still a great deal for him, assuming he gets at least what Cuonzo had, which I believe was $1.3 million per year.  Heck, if he gets that he could pay the entire buyout the first year and still make more than he is now for that year.

oops...that says "four year contract" so that means "2018-2019 season".  Damn you basketball, with your stupid split year seasons.  LOL.

Thus, the payout is around $700,000.  But  at a salary of $1.3 million, he could still break even the first year.
