I doubt we fill all 4, and wouldn't be surprised if we only add 1 or 2 (but one of those has to be a PG!). We need to keep Cofer and Turman though-- we'll need big guys badly and those two need to be here.

Cofer is a legacy guy - granted in football, but still. I think he will stay. He is also skilled and will help.

Turman - big guy but raw and doesn't have a lot of offensive skill. Not sure.

I bet we get at least 1 transfer and 1 juco. May get someone committed to USM. I like the Ellis kid from juco and the Paige kid that is in USMs class..

The fact that 3 signees have now asked for release is a little disconcerting with regard to Tyndall's ability to sell himself, his style and his plan to recruits.

They were recruited for CCMs style, not CDTs style. Donnie will bring in better players to fit his style as it should be.

Tyndall was hired by his Alma Mater, Morehead State, in the spring of 2006. He took over a program that went 4-23 the previous season under Kyle Macy. Tyndall completely reshaped the program as he only retained three players from the previous year. As head coach he upset Rick Pitino in the tournament as a 13 seed on a last second 3.

The Eagles were picked to finish 11th in the Ohio Valley Conference but Tyndall would triple the previous year's win total and finished 12-18 and finished seventh in the conference at 8-12. Tyndall dropped lost 63-46 in his debut at Penn State on Nov. 10, but he would record his first victory as Morehead State's head coach three nights later with an 80-57 victory over Asbury College. The Eagles started the conference portion of its schedule at 6-2 but suffered a nine game losing streak from mid-January to mid-February to see its conference record slip to 6-11. Tyndall picked up a 71-58 home victory over Samford University to snap the losing streak on Feb. 15. On the last night of the regular season the Eagles traveled to rival Austin Peay needing a victory to make the OVC Tournament for the first time in three years and they would deliver with an 82-77 victory. In the OVC Tournament Morehead State faced off against in-state rival Eastern Kentucky and would lose to the eventual OVC Tournament champions 63-45.

2007-08

Tyndall would once again flip his roster returning only four players from the previous year's roster but brought in a talented freshman class that would include two All-American's in Kenneth Faried and Demonte Harper.

on the surface the only one that might cause for some concern on the court would be Austin but reports indicate he was going to leave as soon as the previous coach left, with barely a word with his boss and apparently nobody else.
