We didn't mess around with these guys. The last few years we would have struggled with a team like this.
We're not world beaters by any means. But there's a lot to be encouraged about.
Oh, and I think the announcers, when referring to UT players, said the words "true freshman" more than anytime in the history of college football.
We played so many freshmen on D and damn near shut them out. We've got a number of things to iron out, but damn some guys are off to a good start.
We're not deep at DL but the guys who played really showed out. OL has work to do.
