Please go over and get the clip referenced in RockyTop_GA's post about Hurd's challenge to a puppy DB.

LOVE IT!

I'm at work and we are flash challenged here

This little thing? Yeah, Hurd's got a bit of swagger in him.

I prefer the term "moxie" or "moxy", however it's spelled.

I saw that while watching the game and I wondered why he was pointing at that guy. At first I thought he was trying to point out a player that should be blocked, but then I realized, he was giving that guy some crap.

He was telling him he sees him, and to bring it. You have to love a kid like that.

Funny thing was, that dude backed off, someone else blitzed, and Hurd picked it up anyway.

I picked that up when it happened!!! That made the hair on my arms stand up! I love this team! Young man has those steel round things!  A couple plays after the fumble in the end zone, he came out of the backfield and planted somebody on the right side...These young men are going to be fun to watch!

Just watched the play in question again.  24 does blitz, along with a delayed blitz by a LB.  Interestingly the line blocks to the left, leaving Thomas to block #24 who ends up being a nn factor.  The LB is late to the pary and Hurd really has a bad block on the left side but it is good enough to give Worley the time he needs to complete the pass.

Really a blocking scheme I doubt we pull off at OU.
