I was born in 1960. What I want to know is when has the SEC not been the toughest conference? I remember all those years that Nebraska and Oklahoma were undefeated seemingly every year. The only game they had to worry about was each other. I remember my dad would always call the Big 8 the Big 2 and Little 6. Same with all the other conferences. I just took it for granted that the SEC was the only conference to be in. Do I have orange glasses syndrome? Or do you all agree?

It goes in cycles.  Recall the mid-late 90's, when the SEC was basically a 2 team league- and we were one of them.  If you had told me back then that there would come a day when the SEC would go 9-10 deep, and we wouldn't be one of them, I would've said you were crazy.
