I will be leaving the office at 1:30 today to begin the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Massive gluttony requires preparation.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!    Hubby is smoking a ham and turkey today, so I don't have so much cooking to do tomorrow -- YIPPEE!   We will all be comatose by around 3PM....

I read yesterday that the average adult male will consume over 4,000 calories on Thanksgiving. Just wanted you folks to know I'm ABOVE average.

Have no fear. Eat up.

I read that it takes 3500 additional calories (over the avg. 2000 calories) to gain one pound.

So I figure I'll gain about five pounds tomorrow.
