When a 6-6 Tennessee team can draw more viewers than a team like Oregon, that tells you something.

All men dream: but not equally.
Those who Dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds
Wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the
Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they
May act their dream with open eyes, to make it Possible.
This I did.

Recently, I read how the CBS SEC games completely dominated the competitors. Note that Notre Dame with a national following is only 8th in the country, and teams like USC are much further down than that.

The recent Alabama-Auburn game was the most highly rated regular season game in ESPN history, and blew the old record away by more than 3 million viewers. Also, I read a national article a couple of years ago how the conference is now perfoming much stronger in TV markets such as Chicago, and cutting into viewership of both Big-10 and Notre Dame games.

Impressive.  I think a big reason why is that a large percentage of SEC fans watch other SEC games.  I do, and so do most SEC fans I personally know.

TRO is an obvious exception...he barely watches the Vols.
