The guys at RTI don't seem to think so, unless something has changed, but other reports emerging this afternoon suggest otherwise.

Whichever outcome is worse for the basketball team will be the one that happens. Either he is fired and no one worth a shizzle replaces him or he isn't fired but is severely handcuffed by restrictions/suspensions. He's not a good enough coach to withstand any moderately harsh restrictions.

Until the NCAA officially makes it public, no one really knows. I will not believe anything off a message board or from a secret inside source. I really doubt the NCAA told UT anything it did not already know. If they did not give Jim Boeheim a show cause for academic fraud, how can they do anything to Tyndall. NCAA did nothing to Boeheim, it was the ACC that suspended him.

Given what NCAA has done in the past, they will punish Tyndall and continue to let the big schools get away with murder. Have they done anything to UNC? No. Will they? No.

All this "I am hearing from UT sources" is a bunch of nothing. UT sources had John Gruden signed, sealed, and delivered. I will not speculate, but wait for UT to announce, whatever.

Why don't we just wait and see what happens officially. He is a good enough coach to withstand a lot IMHO.

It's a good thing we passed on Pearl to help our cause with the NCAA. Bring in Rick Byrd. He'll be solid for four years.

So is that a random pic, or one that is actually from when Lane left?
