Charleston, Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island were great. And we visited all of them for the wedding festivities. I have to admit, the father of the bride did it right. Of course, for a hundred thousand dollars it would be hard to mess it up.

The libation list was superb. Usually these things have cheap wines and liquors, but this one was top notch. There were horse duvers and a glass of champagne as we entered the reception. There were four food stations. And then at about 11:00 the servers came around with hamburger and barbecue sliders with french fries to soak up the alcohol. They had a live band and a DJ playing when the band took breaks. It was non-stop ear splitting noise.

As best I can remember, I had 14 glasses of champagne.

There was a wedding here 4-5 years ago where the brides parents spent around $45,000.00 on the darn thing. The marriage lasted 16 months. If I was the father I would have gone to jail because I would have killed both of them.
