...looks like the Pats are officially cheaters.  Again.

Goodell, you've got a repeat offender.  Are you going to hit them where it hurts this time, or will you go easy on your BFF Robert Kraft again?  The world is watching...

Did they not watch Brady's press conference.  I mean, how much more sincere and forthcoming could one human be?  I am pretty sure he didn't even have his fingers crossed.

Since they beat the Colts so handily and then won the Super Bowl with what I assume were properly inflated footballs, I guess it doesn't matter as far as results go. But cheating is still cheating. It puts a taint to some extent on their accomplishment. Which makes me wonder: Why risk it? Perfect saintly Tom Brady has a stain on his halo.

Let's not beat around the bush here: The very integrity of the league is at stake here, and Goodell is watching it circle around the bowl and swirl towards the hole…not just on deflate-gate but on a host of other issues.

There's only one way to truly make a defining statement: strip the Pats of their Super Bowl title and suspend both Brady and Belichick. Given the repeat offender status, I would suspend Belichick for a year and Brady for several games. Goodell's grandstanding will amount to far less than that, obviously. And the integrity of the league will be weakened even more.

Brady, along with Manning, is the face of the league. Don't expect too much punishment.
