A win Sat. against UGA (unlikely) would put out the fires for a while.....a big win would cure a lot of ills. We don't win Sat. and we exit October 2-5 and that dumpster fire will become 10 fold.

I said earlier in the week that I think Tennessee will win. I still think it's very likely, but it's going to determine how the team overcomes the off-the-field adversity that's taking place this week. If they can emerge from this week mentally strong, they have a good chance on Saturday. If Georgia leaves Neyland with a lopsided win, we'll know this thing is truly off the tracks.
In the end, though, a win over Georgia wouldn't quiet all the doubt and negativity that's cloaked around this program right now. It would take a win over Alabama to do that.

Exactly where I am....And after watching how we looked against Ark it was a lot like a Dooley team. I was pi$$ed after the OU cluster......I was HIGHLY pi$$ed after the Florida cluster. After the Ark cluster I was ho-hum. Turned the channel and started watching other games. I have become numb. |
