Yup.  We can be sick that we lost and be extremely proud to be Vols today.  Go Vols!

Hope so.  There is a chance of a let down, but I think it's far more likely that they will be pissed and take it out on the pussy cats next week

Hard  to look at a loss as the "corner turner", but IMHO,  we just turned it.

We win with a FG kicker....so proud.  Honestly I didn't expect to win, but I wanted to keep it close.....we did much more than that.

Honestly, my only issue with coaching tonight- I wouldn't have even trusted Medley from beyond 50 yards.  I would've gone for it and/or faked it, especially after he missed the first short one.  I can see why Butch did it, but it's not what I would've done.

Got to find...recruit or buy a damn FG kicker. Medley is a head case.

We just seem to have bad luck with kickers.  It's not like Medley was some scrappy, undiscovered local kid- he was the #2 kicker in the country coming out of HS.  Most of our scholarship kickers have been highly rated, so I don't know what else the coaches can do.  But it seems we just haven't had one that has been reliable for four years since Jeff Hall.  I guess there's still hope for Medley: Palardy was shaky his first 2-3 years, too- but he was rock solid his senior year.

He seemed to have the distance but not the accuracy for the most part

Palardy had a high opinion about Jones, I hope he can work the same magic with Medley.  ST outstanding everywhere but fg kicker

Last year, Medley couldn't even get the long ones close, but he was reliable from 40 yards in.  This year, he seems to have a more powerful leg, but his accuracy is erratic from ALL distances.  I don't know what kind of training regimen he used in the offseason, but it seems to have affected his accuracy.

Believe it or not, he was 9/13 coming into this game, and had only missed two inside of 40 (which is two too many).  He just did those in high profile games.

His misses tonight were 44, 51, and 51.  At this point I don't expect him to hit the 51 yarders, but no excuse for missing the first one.

He just has to get his head out of his arse I guess
