UT has ever played..I remember watching UT playing at Notre Dame in 1991 and that big come back..was just as cold there but Jeremy Lincoln's back side warmed up the game on a blocked fg :)

I've had the sound turned down. Did they actually say that? This isn't even close to the coldest game UT has ever played.

Yes, they said that, and I know I've attended colder games.

I went to two games in the 2000 season alone that were colder- at MSU and UK in Knoxville.  And I wasn't there, but I understand that the Cotton Bowl against KSU was colder than either.

I'm not sure I agree, but here's what the UT official we site says:

FOURTH-COLDEST: Saturday's game featured a kickoff temperature of 28 degrees, making it the fourth-coldest start to a game in Tennessee history and the Vols' coldest since a 42-7 win over Vanderbilt on Nov. 26, 1977, in Knoxville when kickoff temperature was 25 degrees.

The coldest game in UT history was a 7-0 win over Kentucky in 10-degreee weather in Knoxville on Nov. 25, 1950.

It wasn't as cold tonight as two years ago

Difference?  Little wind

The wind was a killer two years ago.   I was in the end zone opposite the open one so it was blowing right into me.

a hell of a lot faster getting out
College, which was a parking lot two years ago was essentially normal traffic.  Also, I was smart enough to turn onto Broadway this time to get to 63.
All told, about 1:45 to get back to STL from engine start to shut down
