Hurd gained more yards against Missouri than any runner this season, more than Alabama’s Derrick Henry, Georgia’s Nick Chubb or Indiana’s Tevin Coleman did last season. In fact, no opponent had amassed as many yards against the Tigers since Tre Mason ran wild for 304 yards and four touchdowns during Auburn’s 59-42 victory over Missouri in the 2013 SEC Championship Game.

Missouri managed only 88 yards on 29 carries after averaging 202.5 over the previous two games on the ground.
