No, he's taken official visits and the staff has visited him at home, so he's not eligible.  But it sounds like they're trying to greyshirt him.  He's coming off an ACL injury, so he probably wouldn't have played this year anyway.  IIRC, he was rated very high before he got hurt.  

If Brooks greyshirts, that opens up a slot.  Maybe for a certain DT from Georgia?
