Good luck to them. Honestly this is good news as it gives us an extra scholly to give someone deserving.

Blair is one of the bigger busts in recent memory. Raulerson was a reach from the start. I wish them both well as I know they've given their all for Tennessee, but yeah . . . frees up a couple of 2016s schollies for walkons and Raulerson frees one up in the next recruiting class.

Word is that they are both likely to transfer down to D1-AA.

I thought Raulerson would contribute eventually.  Maybe not start, but contribute.  I guess he didn't want to wait.  Blair will have to go the FCS route, since he's a senior.  He's been a pretty epic bust in Knoxville.  But if he's to have any chance of playing professionally at any level, he needs to get on the field this season, and that's not going to happen at UT.  If he couldn't crack the rotation two years ago when we had our worst OL ever, he sure wasn't going to this year.

Didn't Blair graduate? If so, he might be done with football.

I understand he will be able to transfer as a graduate

Blair was a huge disappointment.  Not sure what went wrong.  He seemed to make the rotation more often at the end of last season, but it wasn't a huge uptick.
