Well, if this holds up, no one can say Phil choked it away.  Stenson has played an almost perfect round today.

Lost by 3. Stenson was destined to win today. You make 10 birdies on Sunday at a major you are at your best. When he made that 51 footer for birdie it was pretty much over at that point. Then he gets up and down out of the deep rough on 16 for birdie and it was game...set...match. Phil today was collectively 4 inches away from being 4 more under.

Just great golf by both players.

He started one down so he lost two strokes, shooting a 65, at Troon
As someone who has played Troon (not from the tips) it is a test of one's ability

Many of those links courses are a test. Younger days playing from the tips. I love links golf and wish we had more of it here.
