Had to laugh at a post I saw on another board. Someone asked why Saban and Bama

could have a roster full of 5* players. How did they recruit them all? Someone said it was because of their easy entrance requirements(SEC), they could get any athlete. Bama fan replied...."They don't come here to play school". He told the guy, "maybe you and your school should remember that". That is still most folks perception of the SEC when it comes to recruiting. We cheat.

Do you realize that since Saban got there, bammer has signed more 5* recruits than the rest of the SEC combined?  Think about that.  It's one thing for a USC to do that in the PAC 10, or FSU in the ACC.  But the SEC routinely puts 6-7 schools in the top 10 of Rivals' rankings every year.  And bammer is recruiting that much better than everyone else in the league.   But I'm sure everything is on the up and up down there.

Exactly. I know these two guys are a nice addition. I see one of them is a 3 star and the other is a 4* if I read right. But my biggest question is how do we beat Bama offering 3* star players while they got 5* all over the place.

Yep.  If I was a billionaire, I would set aside several million to investigate bammer and even pay former players for dirt.  So just wait a few years...
