All he does is stand around and watch the play

True freshman QB for Texas throwing it all over the yard. Connected on several deep balls and if Texas WRs hadn't dropped 3 more deep balls that went through their hands Texas would be up more.

Wonder if Deboring is watching or has he already gone to bed?

This is the best game of the weekend, and there have been some good ones.

IIRC, didn't we return a blocked PAT all the way against ND in 91?  I'm guessing that's the last time we've done that.

Thought it was a blocked FG.  "Floyd Miley can fly!"

I don't know about that talented part, but thanks.  :big grin:

We returned a blocked PAT against someone around '89-'91. I keep thinking it was Ole Miss. I distinctly remember John Ward talking before the snap about the possibility of blocking the kick and returning it, and then it happened.

Edit: It was in 1990. Ironically, it was Floyd Miley who returned that one, too. I believe Ward was talking about how Ole Miss had done it to us the last time we played them, which would've been in 1988.

I'll bet there aren't many NCAAF players who've returned two blocked kicks for TDs!

Yeah, I knew we did it sometime around that time.

BTW, Vandy did it a couple years ago vs. UK in Nashville.  I was watching on TV, and when he scored, I thought to myself, "Most of the people in the stands think that's a TD, guaranteed".  Then the camera cuts to James Franklin, who's frantically running up the sideline with one finger in the air, signalling for the PAT.

Didn't we block and return a PAT against Auburn in the 97 SECC?

Nope. I checked, and they did that to us.  Still seems like we have at least one or two of those.
