The O Line has been about the most vexing part of UT Football to me the last two seasons.  Well, maybe number two behind Jalen quitting at midseason last year.

This year, the following are listed as "returning starters".  Robertson, Kendrick, Thomas.  Robertson I feel has been the most consistent.  Thomas a very good Center, though he had a couple bad games.  Kendrick has been solid. We look good with those three, I think.

Next two with some starting experience are Chance Hall and Jack Jones, who started out really impressing me but then occasionally struggled.

Those five, with Drew Richmond and Trey Smith behind them, and with another experienced guy in Bouleware and a few other talented newcomers/RS Frosh coming on board, have me cautiously optimistic about the O line.

I have been there before and been burned, but whatever you say about last year's line, it was better to much better (with the exception of a couple games) than the previous year, and I am sure injuries played a role in how inconsistent it was.

How much of that inconsistency was injuries and how much was coaching, IDK, but one thing I do know is that the cupboard is not bare for new OL Coach Wells.

If these guys can avoid injury, we may finally see some consistency at this position.  Our O Line has the potential to be the best since Jones's first year of 2012, when he inherited five NFL players (all were drafted or picked up on waivers...haven't kept up with them since) .
